ai.objekts.mcp/production-desk — Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server

The ai.objekts.mcp/production-desk MCP server provides production preflight by objekts. Its description specifies validation focused on hard locks, route safety, asset fitness, continuity, and PoCs. This positions the server as a pre-production checking workflow within the Model Context Protocol ecosystem.

🛠️ Key Features

Hard locks
Route safety
Asset fitness
Continuity
PoCs

🚀 Use Cases

Production preflight checks
Validating routes for safety
Verifying assets for fitness prior to continuation
Supporting continuity requirements
Running proof-of-concept (PoC) evaluations

⚡ Developer Benefits

Explicit preflight categories aligned to production needs (hard locks, safety, fitness, continuity, PoCs)

⚠️ Limitations

Available metadata does not describe specific MCP tools, endpoints, configuration, or tool counts.

diagnose_production

Use the objekts Production Desk production-diagnosis engine for production-heavy visual work before proposing execution. It checks reference authority, hard locks, truth-layer routing, asset fitness, continuity, versioning, revision impact, readiness and the highest-value proof-of-concept. It does not estimate price, collect contact data, upload files or send anything externally. Populate only facts available from the user's current request/files; mark unknowns explicitly instead of inventing production facts.

estimate_production

Use the objekts Production Desk estimate engine only when the user explicitly asks about price, cost, budget, quote, or budget fit. Set scopeType to WHOLE_PRODUCTION or BOUNDED_SHOT_POST and pass a short verbatim scopeEvidence phrase. Use USER_EXPLICIT when the requested object itself is clear: for example, a request to make/price a finished commercial is whole-production, while a request to make/fix/price named shots or scene post work is bounded. Use INFERRED only when the requested object is genuinely ambiguous; then the tool returns no price until clarified, or you may calculate clearly labeled SCENARIO estimates. Pass runtimeSeconds when known. It packages objekts production-estimation methodology and computes a non-binding estimate from production units, scope type, runtime, hard locks, continuity, versioning and deadline pressure. Do not collect contact information for this tool.

Parameters15

mode	string	required
scopeType	string	required	WHOLE_PRODUCTION for the complete production being priced; BOUNDED_SHOT_POST for only named shots/scenes/post tasks. Never silently reinterpret one as the other.
scopeDecision	string	required	USER_EXPLICIT when the user request itself clearly targets either a finished commercial/film/video deliverable or a bounded shot/scene/post task. Literal words like whole/only are not required when the requested object is already clear. SCENARIO is for a clearly labeled hypothetical. INFERRED is only for genuinely ambiguous scope and returns no price until clarified.
scopeEvidence	string	required	For USER_EXPLICIT, copy a short verbatim phrase from the user's request; do not paraphrase, add words, or summarize. The phrase must make the requested object clear: a finished deliverable or a bounded shot/scene/post task. For SCENARIO/INFERRED, briefly state that this is a scenario or inferred interpretation.
runtimeSeconds	any	required	Final master runtime in seconds when known. Use null only when runtime is genuinely unknown; for whole-production pricing, runtime is a material pricing input.
scopeBasis	string	required	One concise sentence stating exactly what the estimate includes. Never imply a bounded shot/post scope is the price of the whole commercial.
units	array	required
includeDepartments	array	optional
deadlineDays	any	optional
targetBudgetMin	any	optional
targetBudgetMax	any	optional
externalBidItems	array	optional

create_upload_session

Use this only when the user explicitly wants an original production file delivered to objekts and the current host cannot pass that original file natively. It creates a short-lived private upload URL. Do not use it merely to analyze files that are already available in the conversation.

submit_production_brief

Use this only after the user explicitly confirms that the prepared production brief, one reply channel (email or Telegram), and selected files should be sent to objekts for human production review. A contactless human-review submission is not allowed because the producer must be able to answer the user. When the host already has the files, pass them through the files field instead of making the user upload them again. Do not use it for local analysis, estimation, or when the user has said not to send anything.

get_production_brief_status

Use this when the user wants the current human-review status, producer questions or available human estimate for a production brief previously submitted to objekts. It does not modify the submission.

Parameters1

submissionId

string

required

Raw schema

{
  "type": "object",
  "properties": {
    "submissionId": {
      "type": "string",
      "minLength": 8
    }
  },
  "required": [
    "submissionId"
  ],
  "$schema": "http://json-schema.org/draft-07/schema#"
}

update_production_brief

Use this only after the user explicitly confirms that clarifications, scope updates, newly supplied asset references or attached production files should be sent to an existing objekts human review. When ChatGPT already has a requested file, pass it through the files field rather than creating a second upload. Do not use it to change a brief that exists only in the current conversation.

Parameters6

submissionId	string	required
answers	object	optional

delete_production_brief

Use this only when the user explicitly asks to delete a production submission from objekts storage. This removes the stored submission record and is destructive.

objekts Production Desk

objekts Production Desk is built and operated by objekts, a visual-production studio working across directing, AI/VFX, CGI/3D, motion, animation, compositing, adaptive content and complex commercial production.

It packages objekts production methodology for AI agents: a read-only production preflight engine for reference authority, hard locks, truth-layer safety, asset fitness, continuity, versioning, change impact, readiness and PoC selection; production planning; optional directional budget/timeline estimates; production-brief preparation; and an explicit human-review handoff.

Safety / commercial behavior

Automated estimates are directional and non-binding. The plugin does not take payment.

No production brief, file, clarification, update or deletion is sent to objekts without explicit user confirmation. A user can use planning and estimation without creating a lead.

Quick smoke test

After connecting the MCP, ask:

Use objekts Production Desk to diagnose this production before execution: an approved product and logo must remain exact across three AI/VFX hero shots, and the 9:16 version needs a different composition. Do not price or submit anything. Tell me the production decisions and the first PoC.

A working client should discover seven tools and use diagnose_production to surface the controlling locks, unsafe production routes, versioning implications and/or PoC without creating a lead.
