RE-call MCP Memory Server

by GiulioDER · Python

Agent memory on your own Postgres that flags superseded facts and abstains instead of guessing.

io.github.GiulioDER/re-call (MCP) Server

RE-call provides agent memory backed by your own PostgreSQL using pgvector. It stores and retrieves information while attaching verdicts, confidence, and provenance to each hit. When a claim is retracted, results are returned with a superseded marker, and the system refuses to answer questions the corpus cannot support instead of guessing.

🛠️ Key Features

  • Agent memory implemented on PostgreSQL with pgvector
  • Retrieval results include verdict, confidence, and provenance
  • Retracted claims are labeled as superseded
  • Abstains/refuses when the corpus cannot answer

🚀 Use Cases

  • Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) with abstention
  • Hybrid-search and vector-search workflows using embeddings
  • LLM agent memory that tracks provenance and retractions
  • Reranking and information retrieval over a vector database

⚡ Developer Benefits

  • Aligns retrieval with safer agent behavior (refuse vs. guess)
  • Provides traceable metadata (provenance, confidence) per retrieval hit
  • Supports MCP integration and agent-memory patterns
  • Uses Python ecosystem concepts and pgvector-based vector storage

⚠️ Limitations

  • Intended to answer only questions supported by the underlying corpus; unsupported queries are refused rather than inferred
